Welcome to my blog!

I’m Kaitlyn, the girl who’s usually doing the dishes and constantly making wishes.

CK 8

This is my first and only attempt at creating a blog. I started this whole thing based on a lot of encouragement from other people, and turns out they were right. I do love it! Now I’m super-addicted!

This blog is about my day-to-day life and all the things that are involved in it. If you like the things you read, please share! I have always been a whore for attention! Sharing buttons are on all my posts. If you love it so much that you never want to miss a post, then click the “follow” button on the bottom right.

“Mom Stuff” has some posts that all mommies can relate to, including the daily challenges I face (usually involving bodily fluids of some sort) and some tips that have worked for me while raising those little ankle biters.

“Wife Stuff” contains all my posts about my husband and our relationship. Sounds boring, but I promise it isn’t. We like to keep it fun around here. 😉

Speaking of fun….”Fun Stuff” is a collection of my family fun posts. It includes a bunch of suggestions and ideas to get you and your kids out of the house and having fun together!

“Cook Stuff” is exactly what it sounds like. Some good old recipes….Because really, what is a mom’s blog without them? I try to keep it healthy, but a really delicious, fattening, sugar-laden recipe might occasionally make its way in there. I can’t help it.

A couple more things you should know about this blog:

I have no idea what HTML code is, but thanks to Google I am now aware of its importance in creating a webpage.

I own an actual camera, but never have it on me. Therefore, all the pictures on this site are taken with my handy Samsung Galaxy phone. Go ahead and be mortified. How unprofessional of me! Just for you, offended one, I will take photography lessons in my spare time.

Just kidding. I spend my spare time competing in some pretty serious Fitbit challenges and drinking wine. I have no time for photography school. Sorry.

This has been (and will continue to be) a slow learning process, so feel free to laugh and learn along with me! Enjoy!

  1. I loooove this! I will definitely pass it on and Amanda will have more of the audience and she will as well. Nice work, Kaitlyn. Really well done!
